The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has made significant strides in the investigation of a case related to the attack on Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers at Sandeshkhali, West Bengal. Today, the agency has apprehended three individuals, including a Panchayat Pradhan of Sarberia, in connection with the ongoing probe.
These arrests come as a result of diligent investigative efforts following the earlier arrest of accused Sh. Shaikh Shahajahan. The individuals taken into custody are believed to be associates of Shaikh Shahajahan, further implicating them in the alleged attack on ED officers.
The arrests were made in conjunction with the investigation of FIR No. RC0102024A0002, which pertains to the incident in question. The CBI has indicated that all the accused will be presented before the Magistrate tomorrow for further legal proceedings.
